Financial Policies

financial policies

Our goal for Dr. Macalik’s office is to make dental care affordable for you. We don’t want finances to stand between you and getting care that you need. So we try to be understanding and flexible with our financial policies.

Moderate Fees

We start with reasonable fees. While we use only first-rate materials and do not rush through procedures to save money, we still try to keep our fees moderate, within community standards. This will help a lot. Top of the line treatment for reasonable fees – that’s our motto.

Dental Insurance

Your dental insurance policy is between you and your employer–we are not a party to that agreement. Nevertheless, we consider it our obligation to help you understand your benefits and get your maximum benefits. We will file your insurance claims for you and deal directly with the company to get the benefits to which we know you are entitled. You will only be responsible for paying your estimated portion at the time of service. Your insurance company will then pay your benefits directly to us. If there is any discrepancy between what they paid and what we expected they would pay, we will resolve that after the fact and credit or debit your account accordingly.

Payment Plans

Apply for Care Credit

For extensive work, many of our patients like the convenience of in-house payment plans. We offer plans that are underwritten by CareCredit. So when expenses grow beyond your regular budget, you can finance your dental work with any major credit card, or you can apply for zero-interest or low-credit payment options through CareCredit. Visit the CareCredit website to learn more about interest-fee payment options.

Not only will we work with most dental insurance policies, but we are happy to help you to understand those insurance benefits. We also accept most credit cards, personal checks, and cash.

If you have questions regarding financial policies, payment options or insurance coverage, please don’t hesitate to ask. We look forward to serving you and your family! If the treatment you desire costs more than you think you can afford, talk with us about it. There are ways to work around many dental issues with alternate treatments, phased treatment, etc. Be open and honest with us, and we will understand.
