Dr. Alana Macalik, or “Dr. Mac,” is passionate about dentistry. Her interest in becoming a dentist began at the age of twelve when she got braces (a rite of passage that most tweens and teens would dread). But Macalik actually loved every minute of wearing braces and it was her caring and compassionate orthodontist that made all the difference. From that time on, she knew that helping people smile would be her life’s work.
